Let's build something good that we can't see with our eyes, and be surprised when it's our turn to die, realizing that we actually did most of the stuff we truly care about. Gave ourselves permission to be curious. Actually became the people we were born to be."Hey Love" Liford Detwilder

Moving On

I haven't been on xanga in so long I couldn't even figure out how post.

Anyway just incase anyone even reads this/xanga anymore I am stopping by to say that all my blogging can be found over on Blogger at:

http://buildingsomethinggood.blogspot.com/

There are pictures and everything.

Love,

Libby

My dress came this week and will be just the ticket! I ended up with this one:]

Isaac Mizrahi for TargetĀ® Taffeta Tailored Party Dress - Navy Voyage

I also picked up some hot pink shoes - but I am now thinking of going with a green sweater anyway. Going with some fun hot end of spring almost summery color mix. I hope everyone who takes a glance at this anymore is enjoying the nice springy day!

So I ended up picking up this bedding while in Chicago over the weekend:

sweet shrub bedding

So now all I need is new sheets! I have been looking forward to new bedding forever.

Just stopping by to say hi!

Not that anyone reads my site anymore, but poking around online I came across this picture (from my friend Austin's website) and I love it:

This might seem weird to some people, but I always kept a photo of my families house in my door room/apartment/house when I didn't live in Ypsi. For some reason it was a comfort. This picture is some what the same thing - it just says "Home" to me. (plus have you ever seen so many people with the same nose? Even my mom's is almost the same)

Photo

Happy Happy Me! This book is as we speak (or should I say as I type?) making its way to my crafty little hands. I'm just looking forward to seeing how lovely all the pictures are let alone making some of the vintage inspired projects! Speaking of projects my spring to do list is ever growing. Not only do I want to do a mini make over on my living room and bathroom (as well as just a "make" on my kitchen), but I have a laundry list of other things to finish or start:

1. A little hat I am crocheting for a little friend who is turning one!

2. A surprise gift for a friend who is getting married

3. A baby quilt (made from the cutest strawberry fabric) for my cousin's little girl due this summer

4. Finish off my own ripple blanket - that will not be as pretty as the one above, but it is my first try

5. Complete Kitchen reorganize

6. Hang Bedroom curtains

7. Have Bathroom curtain made

8. Refinish new living room coffee table

9. Recover ottoman in living room

Not to mention the big spring clean/declutter/give away-athon I already have planned for this weekend! It must be the sun I finally feel like getting things done.
